The Black Eyed Peas (BEP) is an American pop group, formed in 1998 in Los Angeles (California). Two of the components becoming friends in high school. Will.i.am and Apl.de.ap found the crew Atban Klann, an acronym for A Tribe Beyond A Nation. The Ruthless Records, the rapper Eazy-E, by signing the duo in 1992, it recorded an album but the label does not publish: the product line reflects its gangsta. In fact, since the early nineties the concept of pacifism in hip hop has been overshadowed by the philosophy Gangsta rap. The death of Eazy-E in 1995 marks the breaking of the duo with Ruthless.In following the bad experience, Will and Apl expand the group from another member, Taboo, and change the name of the group The Black Eyed Peas, beginning to perform in the Los Angeles area. Their 1998 debut LP, Behind The Front, is appreciated by the critics. Bridging The Gap was released in 2000, collaborations with Chali 2na of Jurassic 5, De La Soul, and Macy Gray. In 2003 the group Public Elephunk, and Fergie will appear in which the group takes the form of a quartet. The Black Eyed Peas album allows finally to arrive to international success, with the single Where Is The Love with Justin Timberlake and Hey Mama. We should not wait long for their fourth album in 2005: a few weeks before the single Do not Phunk With My Heart, released May 27, 2005 Monkey Business.E 'Finally, the 2008l'album The END (The Energy Never Dies). The rest is news today: June 10, 2010 the group opened the inaugural concert of the 2010 FIFA World Cup held in South Africa.
